ENGINEERING CONSISTENCY

India’s biryani market is valued at over ₹35,000 crore and growing at 11–12% annually — making it one of the fastest-growing food categories in the country.

For nine consecutive years, biryani has been India’s most-ordered dish online, with more than 300 biryanis ordered every minute.

At Charcoal Eats, we’re building a data-led, full-stack food-tech company designed to capture and scale this massive opportunity. Our mission is to build a global biryani brand that combines quality, consistency, and technology to deliver superior unit economics and customer loyalty at scale.

OUR BUSINESS MODEL INTEGRATES:

Technology-led decision-making powered by real-time consumer and operational data

Rapid menu innovation supported by an agile kitchen and R&D framework

A scalable network, currently at 100+ locations, with a roadmap to 500 within the year

Standardised operations that ensure every order meets the same benchmark for taste, speed, and freshness

This blend of insight-driven growth and operational precision enables us to deliver hot, fresh food within 30 minutes, while maintaining strong margins and repeat purchase rates.

At Charcoal Eats, we’re not just building a food delivery company —
we’re building an intelligent, scalable ecosystem for the future of Indian cuisine.

One of the Charcoal Eats pillars is quality – and we take that very seriously. Our Quality Assurance and Procurement teams have built relationships and systems that have stood the test of time. They ensure that delicious, fresh food is delivered from all of our outlets, no matter the circumstance.

Today, Charcoal Eats has 100+ outlets in India; we’re delivering in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Pune. In the next year, we aim to be present in more than 20 cities across India, with over 500 outlets.

We’ve also unlocked a milestone achievement: a presence across three continents. Charcoal Eats has outlets in New York, and soon we are opening our restaurant in Australia.

PARTNERS

Our delivery partners have over the years travelled over 40 million kilometres – that’s travelling to the moon and back over 50 times! We work closely with our partners to understand their ecosystems better and grow our services in a sustainable fashion. Our deep relationships with food platforms have been nurtured with the same care as our food, and we’re proud to walk towards the next phase of Charcoal Eats with them.
